Inventory warranty information

With Docusnap, companies can ensure that their hardware always meets the applicable warranty conditions.

Monitoring of warranty information

With the new Docusnap function, companies can ensure that their IT hardware always meets the current warranty conditions. Devices from leading manufacturers such as HP, HPE, IBM, Dell, Cisco, Asus, Lenovo, Toshiba and Fujitsu can be quickly and easily checked for their warranty conditions. This minimizes the risk of unplanned downtime for companies and saves time and money by allowing them to access warranty claims early.

After the systems have been inventoried, the required data (product, model, serial number) is sent to the manufacturers via the Docusnap365 backend. Since the response times of the manufacturers vary, the query is asynchronous to catch delays. This means that the warranty information is available some time after the scan is complete. The data is only processed temporarily and forwarded directly to the manufacturers without being stored permanently. This function can be flexibly disabled, depending on the company's needs.

With Docusnap, IT teams have full transparency over the current warranty status of their hardware at all times. They can take timely action to prevent unplanned outages, ensure system availability, and reduce maintenance costs. This forward-looking management helps to use resources more efficiently and to make the most of IT hardware lifespans.
