Reliably track changes in the network
The history function of Docusnap enables the management and comparison of IT inventory data over time.
Regular inventory of the entire network
The automatic and recurring inventory of the entire IT network is the perfect basis for creating a reliable change history. This is because Docusnap automatically saves the data from the last four inventories. This means that four complete snapshots of your IT are available to you at any time. These can be easily compared, making it quick and easy to recognise differences and changes.
Detailed change analysis for better decisions
The changes to individual systems can be easily tracked via their inventories. For each system, Docusnap directly displays the last four inventories with a time stamp. The software also offers special reports. In the Active Directory comparison report, for example, you can select which two inventories you want to compare with each other. The report then clearly shows you which objects have been added to or removed from your Active Directory in the selected time period.
With Docusnap's history function, you can view, compare and analyse the history and results of past IT analyses in detail. This provides you with valuable insights into the development of your IT network over time and helps you to make future decisions.
Customization of the number of saved inventories
Docusnap allows you to individually define the number of saved inventories. By default, the last four inventories are documented. This gives you an overview of the last month for weekly inventories.
You can increase or decrease the number as you wish. Please note, however, that more historical data naturally also means a higher storage requirement.
